Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I order anytime I want?

Through the process of organising group orders and buying products on bulk quantities is how we get to enjoy the big savings.

As a collective, we need to meet the minimum orders for the different suppliers.

It takes quite a bit of organising to make it happen. We have the order open for the first 2 weeks of the month so everyone can get their orders in and then we get to work to make the orders happen.

That's why there is a period of two weeks in between where the order is closed until the next one so it allows for processing, delivering and shipping orders.

Will I get my order right away?

As we order collectively, we first need to wait until everyone else has ordered and the order is closed.

Once the order is closed, we organise all the suppliers and process all orders. Please allow 1-2 weeks after the order is closed to receive your goodies, depending if you are picking them up or if you are waiting for them to be shipped.

What happens if something is out of stock?

Some suppliers only let us know about items out of stock after we have placed our orders and they have shipped already all the items. That makes it impossible to know if an item is going to be out of stock in advance and publish it on the website.

If this happens, you will be offered to have the item ordered in the next month's order to fulfill it or a refund.

Do you offer Shipping?

Due to the complexity and variety of the orders, it is very difficult to have a set amount for shipping. Some items can be very heavy or bulky, making it very variable in pricing.

As the prices we offer are very low, we can't absorb any shipping charges, so shipping will be organised after the order is paid and submitted and it will have to be paid by you in full. We will organise that through private messages. Please let me know if you need/wish to have shipping as most of our members prefer to pick up locally to avoid any charges.

We are looking into better ways to make shipping easier and more affordable for everyone, even for the bulkier packages...so stay tuned!! Once we have more volume of shipping orders, we will be able to offer cheaper alternatives.
